Wednesday Wrap in New York City (#8)
Fleet week, spring onions and late spring in Central Park
Happy Wednesday, I hope your week is going well!
We’re flying out to Bend, Oregon tomorrow to spend a week with my in-laws. We LOVE Bend (and my in-laws!) so it will be a fun time. Two summers ago, we spent the month of August there and fell in love with the scenic, mid-sized town (we’ve been itching to get back). I’m a little nervous about managing a six-hour flight with our constantly-moving 9-month-old, but I know the details will sort themselves out. (Though, to be fair, stocking up on snacks is high on today’s to-do list.)
New York is so wonderful this time of year. The rainy days are slowly giving way to sunnier weeks, Monday was pure bliss. One highlight of my week was hanging out with my cousin and her husband (and his large family). They all flew in from the West Coast for his brother’s college graduation and decided to visit the city afterwards. We took them to PopUp Bagels (you know me!) and then strolled through Central Park. It was lovely to see her and meet the whole gang.
Another highlight was spending an evening with a good girlfriend at my favorite French restaurant in NYC, Buvette. I finally tried the chocolate mousse, and it was delicious! (Photo below, if you’d like to see.)
With that, let’s dive into my camera roll from this past week.

I am a sucker for these charming pop up dance and music classes for little kids in Central Park. I see them all over and the kids are always having a good time.

Cheers!
Antonina
This makes me miss NYC so much! I'm adding Buvette to my list next time I'm there, I love old world cafe vibes.
Oh, I absolutely love your beautiful photos! They always brighten my day. It's amazing how the little things in life can bring us so much joy and remind us to appreciate our blessings. I hope you have an awesome time in Bend—it’s one of my favourite spots too! Enjoy every moment!
